Overview

This stunning yarrow will help liven up a sunny border or gravel garden with its large, flattened clusters of canary-yellow flowers. More resistant to flopping over than most other achilleas, it rarely needs staking and is long-flowering as well as drought-tolerant. The bright colouring of 'Moonshine' makes it a perfect partner for ornamental grasses - and the flowers look great when cut and added to a vase.

Care guide

Cut down to the ground in late winter, but resist the urge to do this earlier, as the seed heads look lovely in the winter light. Pull out seedlings as they appear, as they rarely match the host plant. Lift and divide large clumps in late autumn or early spring.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Larger pots (2L and above) are wrapped in waxed paper and then attached to a cardboard base so they stay stable in the box. The waxed paper prevents the compost from spilling out and gives the base some added protection from damp compost. For large numbers of plants, pallets may be used for shipping.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
