Overview

Premium Quartzite Pea Gravel 20mm is very popular and hard wearing used on paths, driveways and in borders as a mulch.

This product is so flexible for a multiple of uses and themes in seaside, Mediterranean, Alpine and Oriental themed gardens. It works very well in water features and in marginal planting to create an interesting backdrop to the planting.

Sizing: Please note all our aggregates are quarried. The size of the product can vary and, in most cases, will be larger than expected. All sizes quoted are only an approximate indication.

Colour: Natural products may show some colour variations due to natural changes in rock formation which are beyond our control. We take every measure to keep this to a minimum, but variations are to be expected. You will notice there is a colour variation on the images, this is to show the product wet and dry and in a different light.

Dust: All quarried decorative gravels will contain a certain amount of dust this is caused either by the blasting or digging at the quarries. The dust can be cleared by simply hosing the materials once laid or letting nature take its course by letting the dust wash away over time with rainfall.

Delivery Criteria - What you should know before ordering. Please note that we use an 18-tonne truck that requires enough access to the area around the delivery point and space to manoeuvre around safely.

To avoid disappointment of a failed delivery, ensure The Off-Loading Area meets the requirements below

  • Minimum width of 3 metres for vehicle access
  • Free of any obstacles that may prevent delivery such as low-hanging trees
  • Reasonable level HARD SURFACE for off-loading (Pallets can weigh as much as 1 tonne)
  • Pallet pump trucks used for deliveries CANNOT operate on any soft or loose surfaces such as grass or gravel.
  • All deliveries are kerbside & require a signature (unless otherwise agreed and confirmed before delivery)
  • Delivery is only available to mainland UK. There are extra charges for highlands and islands, so please contact us for a quote before placing your order

Health & Safety for you, the driver and the public, it is at the driver's discretion to deem the delivery point unsuitable for offloading and within their rights to refuse to unload any consignments. Alternatively, they may suggest off-loading the consignment as near as possible to the required point where it is safe to do so.

PLEASE NOTE Failed Deliveries - Charges will be incurred if you have unsuitable access, if the delivery can not take place due to the delivery criteria then a minimum of £95 + vat per pallet return cost will be incurred.
