Overview

The stunning flower-like bracts of this flaming sword makes this plant a wonderful eye-catching addition in your home. In its native, tropical habitat, these epiphytic plants are found clinging to trees and vertical surfaces, which allows them to grow and flourish in challenging locations - but take a note of our home care tips and your 'Porto' will quickly adapt to its new environment! Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from. Home care: These plants like a constant warm temperature minimum of 15 °C/59 °F. As they feed through the leaves, mist the leaves regularly throughout the summer. Most importantly don't overwater, let the soil dry out between watering.
