Overview

Excellent for attracting butterflies and bees into the garden. Erect spires of vivid blue, saucer shaped flowers from May to July above low tufts of deeply toothed, greyish-green leaves. This mat forming speedwell makes an attractive and long flowering edge for a sunny, well-drained herbaceous or mixed border. The vivid blue flowers are excellent for attracting butterflies and bees into the garden.

Care guide

Remove faded flower-stems in autumn. Apply a generous 5-7cm mulch of well-rotted garden compost or manure around the base of the plant in spring.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
