Overview

Our native, woodland primrose. Our native primrose is held in deep affection, partly because it's one of the first spring flowers. From early March to May clusters of pale lemon, often fragrant flowers with centres the colour of egg yolk, appear among rosettes of large, deeply-veined, bright-green leaves. Primroses look especially lovely in a woodland garden or along a shady bank, and are suitable for most shady garden sites. Plant them en masse and allow them to naturalise as they would in the wild, among ferns and other woodland plants.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
