Overview

Mid to late summer flowering perennial with daisy-like mauve-blue flowers. Masses of pale, mauve-blue daisies, each up to 5cm across, appear on these compact and mildew-resistant aster like plants. Plant them in clumps or more informal drifts throughout the front of the border and they will give you a good couple of months of colour. Team them with pinks or softer shades of purple as well as silver.

Care guide

Stake with bamboo canes or brushwood in early spring. Water regularly during dry spells and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. After flowering cut the flowered stems to the ground and apply a generous mulch of well-rotted garden compost or horse manure around the base of the plant.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
