Overview

A trailing, woolly, silver-leaved foliage bedding plant. With finely textured silver foliage and stems, 'Silver Mist' makes a beautiful, branching foil plant for mixed containers or baskets. Easy to grow, this helichrysum is a tender, perennial favourite with the woolly leaves intensifying in colour with more light. Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 7 - 10cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). Delivered in plastic-free packaging, they are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse, where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting outside after all risk of frost has passed. Please note: We grow these especially for you, so we do request that full payment is taken when you place your order. See above for despatch dates for this particular plant. To ensure that your plants arrive in the best possible condition each pack will be despatched individually.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Large plugs are placed in a cardboard mold in groups of five. This is then placed inside a fitted box ready for transport.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
