A fast growing, attractive, and insect-friendly meadow mix containing five native British annual wildflower species to create 'instant' colour to enrich existing grassland or provide additional first year colour to other wildflower schemes. Contains 100% of species recommended by the Royal Horticultural Society as perfect for pollinating insects. One packet contains 2 grams of seed, which will cover approximately 2 square metres. This cornfield collection contains: Anthemis arvensis (corn chamomile) Agrostemma githago (corncockle) Centaurea cyanus (cornflower) Chrysanthemum segetum (corn marigold) Papaver rhoeas (field poppy)

Care guide

Rake the soil well to form a fine tilth and then sow seeds, scattering them evenly before raking them in and firming down. Keep them well watered initially and remove any weeds if they appear. Wildflowers prefer poor soils so avoid using fertilisers. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering, and in autumn, after the plants have spread their seed, cut them down to the ground before adding to the compost bin. Sow: March - May or September - October Flowering: August - September or May - July
