Overview

A recently introduced off-white herbaceous perennial. A chance discovery by Rosy Hardy in 2015 and recently introduced. Ruffled semi-double 'Frilly Knickers' is a stunning sport of 'Dreaming Swan'. The large purple buds of this clump-forming perennial open to a mass of white petals with delicate hints of lilac and a boss of golden-yellow stamens. Well suited to the small garden with a long flowering season and perfect for pots!

Care guide

Cut back the flower stems after the blooms have faded. Remove any degraded foliage in March and mulch with well-conditioned organic matter. Once established, lift and divide congested clumps in early spring.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
